What is Time Zone Converter?
A time zone converter shows what time it is in other places for a given date and time. This one converts to several zones at once, uses the daylight saving rules of the date you pick and tells you when the result falls on another day.
Useful for
- Scheduling a meeting with people in other countries.
- Reading the time of a deploy, an incident or a log in your own zone.
- Checking when a release or a maintenance window starts for each team.
- Knowing the UTC offset of a city on a specific date.
How to use
- Pick the date, the time and the time zone of origin; your browser's zone is the default.
- Read the converted time, the UTC offset and the day change for each zone in the list.
- Add or remove zones; your list is remembered on this device.

New York 11:00
London 16:00
Tokyo 00:00 (+1 day)Frequently asked questions
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. The conversion uses the rules of the date you pick, not of today, so a meeting in July and one in January can have different results.
What happens with a time that does not exist?
When clocks jump forward, some times are skipped, such as 02:30 in New York on the second Sunday of March. The converter moves that time to the first valid one, 03:30.
Where does the list of time zones come from?
From the IANA time zone database built into your browser, the same one used by operating systems and programming languages.
Why does a result say +1 day?
Because in that zone the converted time already falls on the next calendar day. A −1 day means it is still the previous day there.
